1ª Mostra de Dança Impressa (MDI) is an event that can happen during others events. The first volume was released during seventh edition of PARALELA - plataforma de arte, but it could take place in different cities and contexts. It is a project that can go along with festivals, exhibitions and biennials around the world. MDI’s creation, edition and performance process is collaborative. Its pages are inteded to colide ideas of body, book and dance, that can’t be performed in another way but its pages. MDI doesn’t require contact, it is not a publication about dance and much less an art catalogue which gathers comments about dance, neither a process diary or artists’ book. It is not about nothing. It is dance itself.
